These are some questions i had asked people i knew. As you can see people think transgenders are .like everyone else. Yet again, why do people want to kill themselves for all the harassment? Are these people lying or can the deaths of trans people be caused by depression? With numerous straight people who had answered these questions most came back with positive feedback, but agreed that gregori isn't a safe place for the trans community. I asked all sexuality what they had thought. A gay man came back with positive comments, yet he said that people always comment and are judgmental. I asked a lesbian female who said she gets bullied daily at school because she is a "freak". As a transgender added that he can't come out as a male because everyone is way to judgmental. As you can tell is that you need support to feel safe. If you don't feel safe you will not be who you are. This is why the lgbt club as this school is important to a lot of students.

anti lgbt & lgbt companies
I was scanning through a article and saw the discrimination of companies and thought it would be perfect for my project because not everyone will let a worker be an employee if they are lgbt. I've found places who will refuse your service. What I learned about this is you can be a straight person who " looks gay" and they have no way to prove it but still will refuse you. It is hard to find a job in the lgbt community.

Here is the article I was reading. Its about how at a wedding they were denied service by a caterer because the couple is gay. I couldn't believe how cruel a person can be.
http://www.advocate.com/business/2014/01/08/california-caterer-refuses-serve-gay-wedding-over-christian-beliefs
Here are some big companies that are happy to support gay marriage. I had never thought that apple or amazon would support gay marriage, but extremely happy they do because I buy from both of them. Even Costco had got into the mix. These are all from 2014 companies.

Testosterone pricing
Here is the pricing of different types of testosterone you can take. I find it interesting that you don't have to take the actual shot to become a "man". There are shots, patches, gel, cream, gum, and tablets all ranging from $40-$500. The link I found with the prices is http://scottsdalehealthcenter.com/how-much-does-testosterone-cost.html
The financial issues can cause a person not be able to take any method which is one reason they can't start treatment or finish it.

homeless support
I went to the a park in Modesto with this box of food and gave it to this homeless trans teen that my mom had known. He and his mom were drug addicts. He had been on the streets since he was 15. At that point in his life, he was a girl then started transitioning. He is now 24 and still on the streets. As of today he was went to jail plenty of times but they still send him to the female facility. His name is Robert. I sat down and talked with him about his decisions on life of being trans and found out we aren't that much different. I asked, " why did you want to be a guy?" He answered with a smirk and replied, " Guys can pee standing up, I have always felt like I am a man in a sense of how I have never gotten along with the crowd. I was always feeling different. Its hard for me because I like men as well. It wasn't like I was a lesbian and decided to change my sexuality." I asked him one more important question, " Has anyone helped support your decision or helped you be comfortable transitioning?" he said, " Most of my family is homophobic. My mom although helped me through the possess. It was hard for us to scramble money considering my addiction to drugs and still is a struggle. I now am trying to get back on my feet by getting a job and help myself to become a real man." It was a great talk with him and I actually hope he will keep me updated so I can help in for the future in his transition.

before and after on testostrone
This is a before and after on a dear friend hunter as he is 4 months on t. He is one of the trans people I look up to. He lives in Arizona and has wanted to transition since he was 14. For the past three years hes had a super supportive girlfriend. Now at age 20, he finally started testosterone, gotten his name changed on his birth certificate and license, and started a clothing line to help with others top surgery and getting binders. Here is his before picture on the left and after on right:
Speaking to him on a personal level is quite interesting. He isn't afraid to be himself and will be brutally honest if required. Although he is just transforming his (121k followers on @hksucks, 311k followers on @hknter, @identitydis0rder followers is at 38.4k) support group is huge.

male and female transition costs
The cost of breast reduction varies between $5000 to $7000 including facility fee, anesthesia fee, and surgeon's fee.
For a discount ask the surgeon to get a free or discounted by a before and after photo for websites or advertisements. |
The additional cost will be support bras costing about $100 each and a hot/cold breast compress for $25 cost and info As you can see from the link below a male to female transition is four times as expensive than a female to male transition. You have more factors being put into a male to become a female. male to female costs |
