Conclusion

This projects has let me explore everything in the lgbt community. I started off as just transgenders, but you can't truly do that unless you view everything in the lgbt community. I learned how you will never be accepted by everyone. Let the people around you be your support group. The people who don't accept you shouldn't be in your life. Depression can be caused when felt bullied and alone. Anytime you need help from helping with transitioning to just needing someone to talk to speak to a hotline or a peer who accepts you. I am very proud how my project turned out. I now have a such broader view on everyone. I am very thankful for all the supporters who have come to help the lgbt community. There is still plenty to cover, but theses sources are very important and helpful to understand who I am. Never judge a book by its cover is what I want everyone to learn from my project because you never know what they have went through to get to who they are today.

Questions Answered

Over the time of me coming out as transgender I often get asked tons of questions. I get referred to as a "it" or "she all the time. It is hard to understand someone who is transgender if you have never experienced the transition yourself. Here in the link you will find the answers to the questions you might be wondering about. http://www.apa.org/topics/lgbt/transgender.aspx

Before and After Testosterone

The men and women have faces more obstacles then most. Growing up trying to be who you are is hard. They hide themselves in a shell until they can finally see that others opinions don't matter. I wanted to show a lot of photos because its imports to see both views on the transgender society. You can be female to male and truly look like a man. You can be male to female and truly look like a female. As you can see there is huge differences as you go on with each month. For example lets take the last photo, he is a good looking man who has a mustache and man figures. He took testosterone for 1 year and the outcome came out to be a beautiful lady with all figures of a women.

Before and After Top Surgery

Image result for before and after top surgeryImage result for before and after top surgeryThese people have spent thousands of dollars to fix there body to what they feel is right. As you can see there is a extreme change in not only loosing the breast, but as well as, loosing body fat. I find this interesting because people who do get the surgery don't realize all the changes it will make to them.

Low Testosterone Treatment

Testosterone does the following over treatment time:
Builds lean muscle
Improves sexual performance and enhances sex drive
Increases energy
Improves mood
Improves mental clarity and quickness
Protects against cancer and heart disease
Restores lost zest for life
Removes depression all men and women acquire as testosterone declines

If low testosterone treatment is done correctly, it is safe and there are no negative side effects. Here is a general progression of how things will change after you start therapy:
Week 2 to 3 Lifting of a depression you may not know you have--a general increase in enthusiasm and zest for life - plus, an increased mental sharpness and quickness.
Week 2 to 3 Increase in energy and metabolism levels--activity levels are important.
Week 4 to 5 Increase in night dreams, morning erections for men and increased wetness for women.
Week 6 to 8 Increase in male sex drive - improved interest, performance and satisfaction
Week 12 to 16 Start of increase in muscle and decrease in fat - particularly if you are active and watch your diet - principally refined carbohydrates.
Week 20 to 24 Increased bone strength.http://www.livestrong.com/article/229467-testosterone-effects-on-transgender/

Transgender Bathroom Case

Does anyone know who this is? No? This is a transgender teen who changed a law for all transgender teens. The Federal Court ruled that a transgender (female to male or male to female) can use the bathroom they desire. The Education Board was discriminating against Gavin Grimm for using his preferred restroom. They believed you needed to use the bathroom with your biological gender. In this article it shows you the story behind the fight for all transgenders. https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/education/federal-appeals-court-sides-with-trangender-teen-says-bathroom-case-can-go-forward/2016/04/19/6a873b88-f76b-11e5-9804-537defcc3cf6_story.html

The NOH8 Campaign is a charitable organization whose mission is to promote equality. In November, Proposition 8 passed in California, the state Constitution to ban same-sex marriage. New political and protest organizations being formed in response. The NOH8 Campaign is a photographic silent protest created by celebrity photographer. Photos feature people with duct tape over their mouths, symbolizing them having no say in NOH8. Seven years since its inception, the NOH8 Campaign has grown to over 55,000 people. Started as a everyday life in California to people such as politicians, military personnel, newlyweds, law enforcement, artists, and celebrities.

The message of no hate helped take a stand over bullying and discrimination as well. NOH8 Campaign has done photo shoots in 48 states in the USA and 20 countries around the world. As you can see in this link there are thousands of people who help NOH8 every day. These show how if we can all come together we will fight the hate.

Celeberties that are lgbt

Frank ocean came out at age 19.
Ruby Rose came out at age 12.
Miley Cyrus came out at age 18.
Ellen DeGeneres came out in 1997.
Tyler Oakley came out in 2007.

All these celebrities have had a huge struggle coming out but have embraced who they are and have become true heroes from the lgbt people around the world. Frank Ocean has shown kids that never give up on your dream. Ruby Rose represents have anything is possible. Miley Cyrus started a Happy Hippy Foundation for homeless lgbt teenagers. Ellen DeGeneres gives advice and is a role model for millions of lgbt people. Tyler Oakley makes YouTube videos to help out anyone who is having struggles from coming out to daily things.

The good and bads

Honey, cabbage, asparagus, garlic, eggs, bananas, watermelon,  ginseng, almonds, oysters, porridge oats, citrus fruits, spinach, grapes, wild salmon, avocado, tuna, pomegranate, and meat are the best foods to eat on testosterone. I would know this because my best friend has been on testosterone for 2 years. I have also started taking some testosterone pills. The things to not eat on testosterone are ice cream, pasta, snacks, French fries, biscuits, cookies, nachos, and chicken wings.  You want to keep this in mind when you are eating anything bad for you.

The best thing to drink is water. If you are taking testosterone boosters through powder you may add it into low fat milk or water. Another good thing to drink is any type of citrus juice giving you the vitamins you need. The worst things to drink is soda and alcohol.

little more about Ally Week

I found this website giving a little more information about ally week. I decided to go more in depth with this because as the lgbt leader at my school we find allies as the most important people. Without them then we wouldn't feel accepted by anyone. http://www.glaad.org/blog/be-ally-lgbt-youth-glsen-ally-week-starts-today

I receive a shirt, buttons, lanyard, and stickers for being on the street team. I will be giving out all but the shirt that I have. The shirt I will wear on April 16th for day of silence.
